Am sure many of you know for a fact that Saddam was executed so some people could cover their ass.his convictions were and main reason for his execution was for the killing of 148 people whom he said had attacked his convoy but can you tell me which number is greater 148 or 2000 ?If really they were people who meant justice and called for justice among all people regardless of race or country /continent then the so called Iraq invasion could have been african invasion .

We have a big number of human rights abuse in africa than in any other continent and i don't want to really point out countries that i know where leaders have ordered the killing of 2000 people which the whole lot world knows about but never did nothing because they are not people they consider to fall under the word people.they worked side by side with Saddam and shared top secrets of which they had to bury before they spilled out .

If the word people ,generally speaks for all people without selecting ,then Africa should have been the first for the super powers to clean up !!!.

Your theory would hold more water if I could make sense out of it.  As it is, I can't understand what you're trying to say and must, therefore, deem you to be just another eejit who is full of theories and doo-doo.

Sorry - nope, I take that back.  I'm NOT sorry.  Not even a little bit.

Yeah, what she said.

so in essense what you are saying is, you have no idea what you are saying!

or you think you said something profound and deep, but failed to convey anything at all.

Okay how many mass graves did they uncover in Iraq? Little kids with their heads bashed in to save bullets. You don't think this man deserved his fate?

So you are saying their was a bigger massacre in Africa. For one thing Africa is a continent, not a country.

Anyway I don't know why I'm trying to make any sense of this.

excuse me ,i'm not saying this man does not deserve what he got but does not deserve to have been the first when we have rulers who did worse than him before him and go untouched.the super powers are turning blind eye on it.Please try to look up history of some African countries run by rulers.

A lot of murderers are never caught either, that doesn't mean we shouldn't punish the ones that are. Your article is pointless.

Probably thats the same way they talk when they hear of such things happening in Africa ,'their cries and claims are pointless,.and they wont even bother to try and find out the truth like they did in iraq where they dug up the graves to see for themselves if it were true....

oh please ...how many times has Africa been helped out. How many billions of dollars and pounds have been given to Africa? Africa is beyond saving as long as they keep resorting to tribalism and having chiefs that turn into dictators that use said monies for their own personal use and other gross misuse. Take good farmed and profitable land from working farms and give it to someone that knows fuck about farming to subsistence farm - yes starve your people over and over and over Africa.

If Africa took pride in themselves and actually did something and built themselves a reputation of good solid honestness, perhaps they might be inclined to assist, but why assist when you keep making the same mistakes over and over and over.

ugh I just get worked up on this subject!

Reply By: little-whipPosted: Monday, January 01, 2007I think that what Noldane is trying to say here is that US foreign policy exposes us for the hypocrites we are when we go in to 'rescue' the Iraqi people from a 'horrible dictator' yet turn a blind eye to the current genocide occurring in Darfur, much like we turned a blind eye to the genocide in Rwanda. If we are going to play super-hero to the world, there were many places far worse off than Iraq where we could have gone in with our guns and good deeds. What Noldane doesn't understand is that America has no 'friends' in the global community, America has 'interests.' Our interest in the middle east is obvious. We don't really care about Africa because Africa has little to offer us. How do we benefit by coming to Africa's rescue? Do they have a single thing we Americans need?Nope.

Thanks little-Whip for filling up the big gaps that i had left and thank you for answering me in full!!.

MMmmmm, so we should have ignored, say polio because cancer kills more people. We should ignore all petty crime until every case of murder is solved? Triage isn't just about taking the most injured people first. Sometimes it is about fixing what CAN be fixed instead of wasting time on things you aren't prepared for or simply can't do.

People more often use North Korea as an argument. Why attack Iraq who might have had WMDs when you have North Korea sitting there who definitely does, and who is lobbing missiles over Japan? Even if Bush had foreseen 3,000 casualties in Iraq, it would still be dwarfed by the tens of thousands, and probably hundreds of thousands of civilians, that would have been killed making 'regime change' in North Korea.

Clinton should have done something about Rwanda. More should be done in Darfur. You have to be realistic and consider the fact, though, that we can't find someone to lead congressional intelligence that knows al qaeda is Sunni.

Given that, maybe tackling the doable, and the easily understandable, makes sense.

the shamans who convince local populations that the condoms we provide in an effort to fight AIDS are actually impregnated WITH aids.

That is Mbeki who doesn't have shame to stand in front of cameras and say this bulshit.
